Is Your Cellulite and Fat Here to Stay?

By Tom Rockwood Most women are prone to deposits of cellulite, it doesn’t matter how thick or thin you are. These are gender specific (that’s right for women only!) deposits of dense fat that are caught in the network of fibers that make up the structure of the body. To understand this you have to picture your body as being enclosed in a large network of tissue that looks like a fish net of interconnecting tissue. How much this tissue can expand is non-negotiable. Since the connective tissue is not as elastic as the skin, it will only stretch so far while being acted on by the force of expanding fat cells. When fat deposits become trapped beneath this network, called the superficial fascia, the net is stretched and its fatty contents bulge out in an unattractive way that is often described as looking like cottage cheese, orange peel or gravel. Why don’t these stubborn deposits of fat just melt away like regular fat? The law of Mother Nature in this case is that the greater the area of fat concentration the harder it is to get rid of. The minute your total body fat exceeds 25% in a woman, you will develop cellulite. Sometimes you can get rid of the fat but not the gnarly connective tissue that was created to accommodate the extra fat cells in the first place. Areas of the body that have a high ratio of fat to muscle (for example the thighs, hips and buttock area in women) are particularly hard to smooth out once they have become pocked with cellulite. Getting rid of cellulite is not as easy as exercising and limiting your caloric intake. As many women know you can get extremely thin, almost skeletal and still have lumps of cellulite showing In fact, if you lose too much weight the cellulite bumps and dents can be even further highlighted. Usually getting rid of cellulite requires a complete lifestyle overhaul. This usually starts with some kind of detoxifying or cleansing diet and then a permanent modification of your exercise and eating habits. Circuit training that involves an hour of aerobic exercise and weight training is thought to be the best cure for this common problem. Drinking a lot of water and eating fruits and vegetables that are water dense may also help get rid of these stubborn deposits of fat. If you do have cellulite you might just have to live with it. There are no pills, miracle creams or rubber garments that can correct cellulite. If the cellulite is going to go away it is going to go away on its own. The problem is that it is not just a matter of eliminating fat, it is a problem that involves the body’s interconnecting tissue. Disappointing as it is you might have to resign yourself to the fact that there is no way of fixing connective tissue that has been distorted or twisted by excess weight gain from the past. Dear God, How Do I Get Over a Former Lover I Still Love? Exclusive Excerpt

By Barbara Rose, Ph.D. When the Connection Never Died Many people have deeply loved someone long after that person was not in their lives anymore. I have been through this, and I know how difficult it can be. I decided to write this book to help people reach understanding and resolution, both while reading this book and after, because the process I will share with you will enable you to continue to receive more resolution as situations, emotions, memories, and experiences change over time. Many times when we read something, it helps us in the moment. Then, old memories come up, old feelings, a song, or a chance meeting with the person you still love, and you may need more guidance to help you. There are higher reasons why we feel deep connections that time, a need for personal space, and physical distance cannot take away. There are also important reasons we go through these experiences. My greatest hope is that you can find the inner peace and solace that I have finally found even though the love never truly dies deep inside. I will share much, and bring you examples of what many different people go through, because this problem does not have a one-size-fits-all solution. There is, however, a solution that every human being who feels this way can discover, and revealing that solution is the purpose of this book. Yes, you can still love a lover who is no longer in your life, and you can get over the pain. This book is going to show you how. If I could do it, you definitely can, and I want to assure you that no matter how deep your pain, no matter how many memories pop up to the surface, you can come to peace. I will share all I know because that knowledge has transformed all of the pain for me. I want more than anything for you to experience this same inner transformation from longing, tears, and heartache to genuine solace and even joy. You might wonder if that is possible. Please keep reading to find the answer. I welcome you to the most healing inner peace you can possibly have. I welcome you as a friend, because I have been there too. By the time you finish reading this book, you will have all you need to get over a former lover even while you are still in love. Now, lets begin the process that will open your heart, bring you understanding, and give you a life that is filled with all of the inner solace you deserve. When the Pain Wont Go Away You have been deeply in love, and now that you are no longer with that person, the pain has surfaced and feels like a living hell. It burns and hurts, and you try to get over him or her with every logical tactic and approach you can think of. Perhaps you rebound and go to another person to fill the emptiness. Perhaps you numb yourself with alcohol, drugs, sex, shopping, work, anything you can think of, just to get over him or her. Perhaps you let rage come to the surface, thinking that anger would kill the deep love you feel. Perhaps you tried to cut this person out of your system with traditional therapy. Or, perhaps you cry, a lot. I do know firsthand how deeply difficult it is to love someone so much and to continue feeling that love long after he was out of my life. For example, after I brought through the book Stop Being the String Along: A Relationship Guide to Being THE ONE, I truly felt the love and attachment I used to feel for that one special man vanish. Then about a year and a half later, out of the blue, one night all of my old loving feelings popped right back up to the surface. I was shocked. I thought I was truly over him, permanently. But I felt the same love for him that I had felt years earlier. It was then that I realized real love never dies. I tried avoidance. I tried the classic “get over him” tactic. I forced myself to avert my attention away from him and on to my lifes purpose and joy. I tried everything! I would feel inner relief for a while, sometimes for hours, sometimes days, or even months. Then, out of the blue, the old feelings would surface again, and I would wonder why. I would think, “Why are my feelings as deep now as they were years ago, even when I thought I was truly over him?” I wrote letter after letter to God asking for answers, and the process I am going to share with you actually comes “through” me from God, who you can call Holy Spirit, Higher Self, All That Is, Divine Source. Whatever name you feel most comfortable with is fine: God as you personally understand Him or Her to be. It is crucial for you to know that all of those tactics to kill the love you feelavoidance, logic, “getting on with your life”all of those tactics do not work. I will guide you through this process to find out why you feel the pain to begin with and to learn how to transform the pain, because once you go through this process, you will experience inner solace. Losing Weight Off The Lower Body And Upper Thighs

By Raymond Burton Despite all the information out there, I still hear this kind of question quite frequently. “I really cant lose weight off my lower body and my butt in particular. Well anymore weight is more accurate since I have made some progress. What should I do?” How about this one that is common for women that train. Have you ever found yourself in this type of situation and making these kinds of statements to yourself? “I am 31, five foot six and 127 pounds, which I am sure sounds fine to you, but not to me. I have tried everything to get down to 120. Currently I walk 3 times a week for 40 minutes and do 300 crunches and pilates everyday. My upper body is really nice and tight and small. It is my lower body that wont move. Very fat legs, butt and big upper thighs. I am a size 5 on top and a 7 or 8 on the bottom. I hate it so much. I am getting tired of eating less and less and still no weight is coming off. And I do eat very clean. How do I fix this? What should I do to get that perfect lower body?” One of my favourites is how often people think that sauna’s are a weight loss tool. “I like to sit in the sauna for about a half an hour when I go to the gym. Would it be better for me to lose weight and inches in my glutes and upper thighs if I go in the sauna before I do my weights and cardio, or after my work out?” Let me address the fist issue, give an answer and work my way down. As far as someone being on a program of yoga and pilates and not seeing results this is my opinion. I am guessing it is a problem with resistance training and possibly the fact that the person is not eating enough. Extremely great physiques require extreme workouts. Pilates and yoga and other activities are great for staying in shape and increasing health but cannot produce the VISUAL extremes that resistance training combined with dedicated cardio does. Check out this video of me training two clients for an excellent example of what fast paced resistance training for the lower body looks like. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/371053/ray_burton_leg_workout/ If you would like some help with directly training your lower body, legs and glutes check out the primer on glute exercises and the complete article on training the butt in a well rounded routine. Simply follow the two links in the resource box at the end of this article. Now for using the sauna as a tool for losing weight off your lower body and glutes. It doesnt really matter when you do it because all you are losing is water weight through perspiration. As soon as you drink some water after, your right back where you started. The benefits of the sauna are mostly in the relaxation and cleansing. The last point I would like to address is how many calories you are eating. If you have reduced your caloric intake too much, you will never lose fat off your upper thighs. There is a guideline of going no lower than 1100 calories unless advised by a doctor. Even when doctors use this for their own reasons in extremely obese patients, I cringed. Taking in less than this puts you in starvation mode and the only thing your body cares about is retaining and saving all the calories it can so you continue to live! Eat balanced, small meals and for someone like yourself, you should be eating around 1715 calories when active and go no lower than 1372 in extreme dieting cases. I hope that helps your training efforts. Ray Burton is a motivational speaker, an ISSA-certified personal trainer and author of the best selling weight loss book, “Fat To Fit - The Journey. The Danger of Multiple Websites

By Tim Priebe Many network marketers are able to sign up for an affiliate website with the company they distribute for. This means that while the main company website might be www . companyx . com, Joe Blow can pay $20 a month and get the site joeblow . companyx . com. Then his Contact page and other similar pages would be customized with his information, while pages like the product information section would have the same information that everyone else’s site. Many of those same entrepreneurs are affiliated with multiple distributors. So they often times end up with other sites as well, like joeblow . anothercompany . com, www . yetanothercompany . net / joeblow and so on. Some people may have as many as ten websites, paying anywhere from $10 - $30 a month. Then, as anyone would, they list their websites on their business card. But with so many websites, their card can be cluttered. Maybe you’re one of the people in that second category. Unfortunately, when you give people that cluttered card, you convey unprofessionalism. There’s nothing to differentiate you from someone who signs up as an affiliate one day, and is gone with the money the next. Instead, consider getting your own domain and setting up a gateway page. A gateway page is a simple, one-page site that links to all of the other sites. So instead of having a cluttered business card with all of your websites on it, you’ll have one simple, easy to remember domain name on there. Not only that, but you can also set up an email address with your domain, lending yourself even more credibility. Perhaps best of all, you can then drop all your other affiliate sites. Unless their accounts also have tools like a calendar and auto-responders, there’s no real need to keep your account with them. This could potentially save hundreds of dollars per month. So do yourself a favor. Set up a gateway site. Become more professional and save yourself some money doing so. Tim is the owner and senior web designer at T&S Web Design. Preparation of the Marketing Campaign: Pricing

By Javier Cristobal Keyword Concepts: decisions affecting price setting Pricing: the third element of the marketing mix is an important and complex consideration in formulating the marketing strategy. Yet it is the variable that normally produces the most direct and most rapid change in customer value and competitive impact. Price setting consists of more than adding a standard mark up to a given cost. Pricing is one of the marketing mix elements that can be varied to achieve the marketing objective of the firm. Thus a marketer willing to position a product as a high-quality item will sets up a high price to emphasize quality. The need for price decisions differs for different types of goods and from market to market. In the case of standardized or relatively undifferentiated products, the market sets the price and the seller has little control over the level of prices. The same happens in situations where the government price controls prevail or prices are fixed through paten-licensing agreements. In setting its pricing policies, the company has two basic choices. It may use the prices as an active instrument for accomplishing market objectives. Or it may consider prices as a static element in business decisions. How To Make Your Relationship Succeed (Part 1)

By Dale Mazurek Hello everyone. By no means do I profess to be an expert in relationships but the one thing I do have is a very successful marriage of twenty years. Through those years my wife and I have had to work through several trials and tribulations. We could have very easily given up but the both of us took our vowels very seriously. That hard work has brought us to a point in our relationship where we know everything will be just fine. I will share with you some of the small things that have helped us to make our marriage last. This is part one of a small three part series. 1. It is very important that you make time for one another. I cant tell you how much because I dont know your schedule but no matter what you do the both of you have to commit this time to being quality time. There should be no distractions of any kind. 2. You have to both realize that you cant be right all the time. Compromise will be a huge word in your marriage and you have to learn how it works early on in your relationship. Sometimes you have to give to get. 3. Keeping a happy medium with your feelings is crucial. It is important that your spouse knows that you need them but on the other hand if you are always hanging all over them then things are going to go bad quickly. 4. If you want your partner to listen to you when you need someone to talk to then you have to make sure you make the effort to listen to them in their time of need. One thing to remember is that it takes two to tangle. 5. If youre waiting for compliments its not always going to happen. Its okay to encourage kind words by asking questions like doesnt the car look good? 6. When it comes to the bedroom its a must that both of you show each other what you like right from the beginning. 9 times out of ten your partner isnt going to figure it out without your help. 7. I will tell you what works great to reassure your partner that everything is going to be all right. That is to every once in a while give them the smile. You know which one I mean. The one that shows love and sincerity. 8. You have to learn to live with each other. What might have been cute early in your relationship might be annoying now but just remember that you to are going to do annoying things as well. These are very simple tasks to put into place and follow. I cannot guarantee these will make your relationship perfect but if the relationship was meant to be then these will just show you that much sooner. Dale Mazurek Dale is presently working on getting his first novel published. He has been married for twenty years and is a self taught expert fisherman for the last 35 years.
